So it is Christmas.

Christmas is a time to reflect and a time to plan. It is a time to contribute and a time to give. It is a time to share and a time to care. It is a time to grow and a time to build.

One of the most wonderful things about Christmas is that we forget to think about ourselves for a short period and only think about others. We think of our family and friends and of the less fortunate and disadvantaged. We want to give and support and to protect and nourish.

This is a common universal message and a common universal truth across all religions, other belief systems and across all time.

At this time of year, we become the people we truly want to be. We become the best of ourselves and the best people, communities and societies that we can be.

Many criticise the commercialisation of the season although this consumption only reflects our inherent desire and natural need to share and to give. The only defect or flaw is the fact that this only happens once a year. We only find our true potential and true nature for such a short period.

One of the true messages of Christmas is the confirmation of the inherent good and generosity of mankind and the need for people to share and live together in peace and stability. Christmas allows us to be able to realise our full potential and enjoy the most of our lives, families and communities.

Christmas is then about hope and opportunity and about love and kindness. It is about giving and receiving with humility and gratitude. It is about living our dreams and building new goals and opportunities and creating new dreams for ourselves and others.

Life is very short. Life is precious. Life is a gift. Try to make the most of every moment and every opportunity. Try to live your life with dignity and happiness and with respect and support for the lives of others. Try to find value and truth in kindness and fulfilment in donation and commitment. Be the very best you can be and make the most of your life and time in this miraculous world.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a most prosperous, successful and rewarding New Year and new life.
